2007年武蔵野美術大学映像学科卒業。2011年1Wallグランプリ受賞。2016年三木淳賞受賞。2018年新潮社R18文学賞大賞受賞。土地の歴史や伝承のリサーチをベースにして、写真と言葉を組み合わせて風景を表現している。近年は小説も発表。船橋に予約制ギャラリー tide/poolをオープン

Profile

Yuki Shimizu
Born in Chiba, Japan in 1984. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Japan in 2007. I received the 5th photography 1_WALL Grand Prize in 2011 and the 18th Miki Jun Award in 2016. In 2018, I received the R-18 literary Award for her work as a novelist. I uses photography and prose to weave stories rooted in the history and lore of landscapes. I have recently started writing novels as well. In 2019, I opened the tide/pool gallery in Funabashi.
